 Elizabeth Ida Keith

Elizabeth I. Keith is the Executive Vice President of Sponsorship and Mission Integration for Dignity Health. In her role, she facilitates and provides leadership in ensuring the mission, vision, and values of Dignity Health are integrated and operationalized within the system and local structures and throughout corporate culture and its endeavors. She oversees mission integration, including standards for mission effectiveness in leadership accountability, employee culture and direct patient care services, clinical and organizational ethics, spiritual care, community health, community benefit, grants and investments, corporate responsibility and ecology, and ministry formation. She also facilitates the relationship with the Sponsors and is staff to the Sponsorship Council and the Board Mission Integrity Committee, and assists the Sponsoring congregations in maximizing influence on Catholic Identity.

Keith brings over 20 years of progressively senior leadership positions within Catholic health care and has extensive experience working with local and state governments, communities, and organizations assessing and advocating for the provision of services for the unsheltered, undocumented, uninsured and underinsured. Elizabeth currently serves as a Director on the Board of the American Red Cross Bay Area and chairs the Dignity Health Corporate Responsibility Council. She holds a Master of Arts in Practical Theology and Ministry from Barry University, Miami, Florida and a Master of Public Administration from Baruch College, Manhattan, New York.
