Remembering Stonewall

It has been 50 years since the Stonewall Uprising on June 28, 1969 in Greenwich Village. We oppose violence and oppression against all people.

Catholic Charities serves everyone, regardless of our different identities, lifestyles, or preferences. Our colleagues, partners, and clients are from San Francisco and all over the world. We appreciate your vital contributions of time and talent to our community and our organization. And we appreciate all those who have served our different communities with compassion, respect, and dignity.

Catholic Charities serves all when others turn people away out of fear, lack of understanding, or an overwhelming sense of injustice and despair. We stand by our commitment to serve everyone, today and every day, and to love, not hate.

Blessings,

Jilma Meneses
