How To Help

Volunteer

Volunteer at Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities needs your volunteer support more than ever

We need volunteers to make face masks for vulnerable residents in our housing programs for chronically ill, families and seniors in the bay area. Finished masks will be picked up in San Francisco, San Mateo, or Marin.

We are still taking applications and conducting phone interviews with volunteers. When the threat COVID-19 lessens, many more people will need the critical services we provide. Your help will be even more crucial to our success. We need to get ready today so we can meet the need tomorrow.

For more information about how you can help, please contact Carol Laughlin, Volunteer Services Manager

For more than a hundred years, volunteers have been at the heart of Catholic Charities. From the first church members who took in orphans of the 1906 earthquake to current day professionals, students, and retirees of all faiths and backgrounds, Catholic Charities volunteers continue to support to the most vulnerable in our communities. Volunteerism is woven into the very fabric of this agency – inseparable from our mission of strengthening families and reducing poverty.
